What's the 2-month free trial?
Every new coach (and every coach who claims their auto-listed profile) gets 2 months of Featured tier free. You add a card on file but aren't charged until day 61, when you auto-revert to Starter at $19/mo. Cancel anytime during the trial — you'll just drop to the Free tier.
Why is a card required for the free trial?
Two reasons: it filters out tyre-kickers (which keeps the directory high-quality for students), and it means we can auto-bill you on day 61 without you having to log back in. We never charge during the trial.
What happens on day 61?
Your subscription auto-renews to Starter at $19/mo unless you've upgraded to annual (see below). Starter keeps your full booking system — your calendar still works, your students still find you in the directory, payments still flow. You just lose the marketing surface (carousel, reviews, homepage placement).
Switch to annual during the trial — what's the deal?
If you commit to annual billing at any point during the 2-month trial, you get a 3rd free month (so 3 months of Featured free before billing kicks in) AND the standard 15% annual discount. Featured annual = $396/yr · Premium annual = $804/yr · Starter annual = $192/yr.
What's the take rate on bookings?
3% of gross bookings, applied at the time of charge via Stripe Connect. So if a student books a $60 lesson, you receive $58.20 (less Stripe's standard card fees). No platform commission on cash lessons booked outside our system.
Can I downgrade or upgrade between tiers?
Yes — upgrade is instant and pro-rated. Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep all your students, bookings, and history when you change tiers.
Do I have to use your booking system?
Only if you're on Starter or above — the booking system is what makes the paid tiers worth paying for. Free coaches can keep using whatever they use today (Calendly, Instagram DMs, etc.) and just have a presence in the directory.
What about GST?
If you're GST-registered (over $60k/yr coaching revenue), we apply GST on top of our platform fee only, not on the lesson fees themselves. We issue GST-inclusive invoices automatically. Lesson income flows to you tax-clean.
