FBC Badminton Club is one of Auckland's most popular community badminton groups, with over 2,500 members across their Facebook community. The club plays Sunday nights from 7–10pm at Badminton North Harbour (BNH) in Albany — New Zealand's premier badminton facility with 26 international-standard courts. FBC was founded by a group of passionate players who wanted to connect Auckland's badminton community and give people a friendly environment to meet others and enjoy the sport. Whether you're competitive or purely social, FBC's Sunday sessions attract a diverse mix of players and abilities. Annual general meetings are held at North Harbour. The Ellerslie Badminton Club (formerly the Ellerslie Parish Club) has been running successfully since the 1960s. Open February to November, the club is based at the Ellerslie YMCA in a cosy 4-court venue with free parking. We welcome all abilities aged 16 and over — just bring shoes and a racket. We host our own tournaments including Club Champs and Handicap events. Visitors welcome: 3 visitor nights count towards your membership.
